Senior Barista

Location: Harbourside, Hill Head
Pay Rate: £13.00 – £13.50
Position Type: Full-Time (35-40hrs week)

Job Purpose:

This role is to deliver exceptional service while leading by example in a warm and welcoming café environment.  You are responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operation of front of house service, preparing high quality food and beverages, and maintaining excellent cleanliness and presentation standards.  Working closely with the Café Manager, you will support and guide junior baristas and support staff members, help maintain a positive team culture, and uphold the café’s commitment to friendly, efficient, and customer focused experiences. Through your knowledge, attention to detail, and leadership, you help create a space where both customers and colleagues feel valued, supported, and at home.

Essential Skills & Attributes:

· Previous experience in a management role within hospitality or food service.

· Strong communication skills.

· Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

· Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

· Basic maths/ money skills

· Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, preferably a customer facing role

Desirable Experience:

-Previous barista training or experience in a similar role.
